Happy Mother's Day

Zach continues to be the poster-child baby for us! He's the best baby to run errands around town with and continues to amaze us with his wonderful sleeping patterns at night. Just last night for the first time he found his thumb to suck on instead of his whole hand! I enjoyed my first Mother's Day with Zachary and look forward for what the year has to bring with my little man!

He's definately a growing boy...lots of sleeping and eating!

This month Zach had his last night's sleep in his bassinet and his first night's sleep in his own crib in his own room. Where does the time go? And yes, I still swaddle the little guy at night!

Two Months

Zachary is 2 months old today! I truly hope all our children are as easy as he has been for us. He's continued to be a healthy, happy baby day in and day out. He goes in for his 2 month check up on Thursday...we think he'll tip the scale at 12lbs this month!

March Madness

The month of March has been filled with firsts for our little guy. It started off with Zach taking his first tub bath! He may look a little concerned in his tub picture, but be assured that he enjoyed every minute of it! Zach is now enjoying bath time every other day! Zachary also got the opportunity to be held by Dr. Voelkel...she watched him grow with me for 9 months but did not get the opportunity to catch him in the end because he came at lightning speed! Last Tuesday night (3/10/09) was Zach's first night that he slept through it without a feeding! He slept for a record 6 1/2 hours straight and has been doing so ever since! We even experienced an 8 hour sleep last night...Amazing! Our newest little boilermaker was also happy to see Purdue win the 2009 Big 10 tournament on Sunday! Boiler Up! Finally, Zach was able to enjoy his first adventure outside with his parents...he went on his first walk yesterday with blue skies and 58 degrees of warmth all around him. His puppy, Duke, was also happy that his buddy Zach is now mobile in his stroller!

One Month

We can't believe that Zachary has been with us for one month already! He continues to be the main attraction of the household with lots of family and friends visiting daily! He went in for his one month check up yesterday and got rave reviews from his pediatrician. Zach now weighs 10lbs, 4 oz and is 21.5 inches long. Zach is already wearing 3 to 6 month clothing and we continue to be amazed by how much he is growing and changing.
